FAQ: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PRINT SOLD ELSEWHERE AND A LIMITED EDITION PRINT?
Limited Edition Giclee prints from the artist are the only prints personally signed by the artist and come with a signed certificate of authenticity, making them more valuable and rare, sought after by collectors and appreciate in value over time. Commercial, open-ended prints sold elsewhere are of lesser quality, are not signed by the artist and do not appriciate in value. Prints sold by the artist are also made with the highest quality archival material and inks, so the quality is better. 100% of the profits of prints sold on the artist’s website goes to the artist, but only a tiny royalty is payed to the artist for commercial prints.
